County Government of Kitui to Grade Roads in Each Ward

Some county roads are so poorly done they look like narrow field ready for cultivating and plowing instead of a roads.

The Kitui County administration has promised to invest in the development of roads in each and every ward across the county.

This is according to the county’s minister for roads, Stephen Kyalo who affirmed that 70km of roads will be graded in in the financial year 2021/2022.

“The grading program has already kickstarted as graders currently are on different locations; Kwa vonza, Chuluni, Mwingi among other areaS in the county. For the wards that did no benefit from the initial 50km grading program, the grading process will combine the phases thus grading 120km.” Kyalo said

This comes on the wake of impassable roads due to the excessive rains witnessed I’m April this year.
