End times? Coffin business rated the most profitable as deaths continue to increase

Deaths in Kenya and across the world have been so common to a point everyone feels they will die next.


Ever since COVID_19 pandemic struck the world, deaths have been witnessed on daily basis.


Burials are no longer Conducted on Weekends as they have become too many, making the casket business so lucrative.


“We are getting over 100k on a single day but we initially made 40k before corona,” a coffin seller said.


According to a study, death rates have been so high from May this year where corona Virus has led to 60% of these deaths.


Morgues have been overwhelmed by bodies with one coffin seller disclosing she once delivered a coffin to a morgue that dispatched 120 bodies in a single day.


Although business is booming, the casket and hearse operators said it is worrying how people are losing lives.


Health CS, Mutahi Kagwe angrily condemned Politicians for holding campaigns amidst the pandemic stating they are frustrating the health department.
