Kitui: Governor Ngilu elevates Madam Agnes Mulewa acting County Secretary


Kitui Governor HE Charity Kaluki Ngilu appointed Chief Officer for Administration and Public Service Management Ms Agnes Mulewa as the acting County Secretary.

Madam Mulewa replaces Dr. Joshua Chepchieng who lost his position after a court battle that County Assembly had sued the Governor and CPSB over his appointment.

During the announcement at a meeting attended by all high-ranking county government officials, Governor Ngilu extolled Madam Mulewa as an administrator with impressive and unmatched ability to steer public service and coordinate service delivery by the county government.

In her appreciation remarks, Mulewa thanked the Governor for exuding confidence in her, she promised to work hard for the sake of quality service delivery to the people and staffs welfare.

Mulewa formerly worked as Don at South Eastern Kenya University before her first appointment as Chief Officer in the Governor’s office, Kitui County.
