OKA Will Accommodate Uhuru In The Next Government-Kalonzo Claims

OKA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has extended an olive branch to president Uhuru with the promise of including the president in the next government.

While addressing residents of Nakuru on Wednesday September 22,Kalonzo said that the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) is ready to accommodate the President and give him a chance to be part of the next government if he joins hands with them.

Kalonzo also noted that the same offer is extended to former Prime Minister and ODM party boss Raila Odinga u see the same condition. The Wiper party leader emphasised that OKA seeks to foster inclusive governance AAND will work with all political leaders who wish to join them.

“We want more people with whom we can build national consensus. Nobody should shy from joining us including Raila and the president in defining the country’s next government,” Kalonzo said.

The former vice president wesi noted that neither president Uhuru, Raila Odinga nor any one who wishes to join OKA will have to dump their preferred political parties. He noted that their political outfit encourages people brim other parties to join as alliance partners that will later form a Meg coalition to do the next government.

“OKA is a solid and sacred coalition. We are in agreement to take important measures to ensure there is clarity on the leadership of OKA and possible grand coalition,” Kalonzo added.

Kalonzo’s remarks come amid countrywide rumours that president Uhuru Kenyatta is exerting great pressure on the new political alliance to disband their political outfit and rally behind ODM’s Raila Odinga.

Despite the four co-principals saying that there has not been any talks of such nature and that they rain to be rumours and nothing more, both Kalonzo and his ANC’s counterpart Musalia Mudavadi have said that never again will they support Raila for the top seat.
